What can you learn from a sculpture?  A garden mosaic?  A park bench?  That's exactly what the High Point Public Art Program can help you discover.  This innovative educational program integrates art into day-to-day life through creative exhibitions and installments throughout the community.
 
With a wide range of featured works that will range from traditional paintings, drawings and photography to landscape designs, benches, fountains and gates, the program will offer unique opportunities for people to enjoy, experience and appreciate various forms of artwork.
 
Each piece of artwork will be selected by a formal Public Art Committee, which will include representatives from throughout the community as well as from the cities of Aurora, Denver and various art advisory institutions. Pieces will be exhibited in High Point’s neighborhoods, town centers, business parks and various community venues; in effect, turning the community into a year-round gallery of sorts.
 
In addition to selecting, managing and promoting these various exhibits, the program will also offer various hands-on classes that allow adults and children to pursue their own artistic endeavors, from painting to sculpting to photography.
